Description
'72 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500, runs and drives excellent! I've owned this truck for about 3 years now...I call her Cheyenne. Bought it from a guy who never had time to work on her. The story goes before that a Fireman in Clackamas County used her for his daily driver. This truck is original to Oregon and was first purchased by Patrick Geilan in the rural town of McMinnville on December 18th, 1971. I imagine Mr. Geilan work up that fine Saturday morning and set off to buy himself an early Christmas present. I like to think he was a hard-working guy who needed a reliable daily driver. So the last few years I have been bringing this Chevy back to her former glory days by renovating and rebuilding where possible; replacing parts as needed and cleaning the dirt and grim left from years of service.
Brakes: new front brake calipers, lines, and disc pads / new rear drum brakes shoes and rebuilt rear breaks / new master cylinder and new power brake booster.
Engine: newer Edelbrock carburetor with electric choke / new heater core / new heater & radiator hoses and new heat distribution ducts / new fuel pump / new alternator / new starter and new HEI ignition / new intake manifold, and sandblasted and coated exhaust manifolds / new MT valve covers / new spark plug wires / rebuilt steering box / new washer fluid motor
Suspension: new front suspension with tie rod ends, ball joints, control arm bushings, sway bar bushings / new front & rear shock absorbers
Body/Interior: New windshield & rear glass / new dash pad, new carpet, new seat upholstery / new antenna / new door gaskets & seals / replaced rocker panels / new side mirrors / new speakers / LED lights added to dash, dome, brake & turning / rebuilt air vents, wing windows and door hinge
I have the original dealer plate with first owner's name and original manual
