Our 5 foot C-Stand, also known as a century stand, is the most important rigging, grip equipment you will buy.  C Stands are an excellent alternative to a standard light stand and can be used to rig a number of photography accessories including your camera, reflector, flag, panel, silk, scrim, diffusion dome, lights, led, strobe, softbox, and more!  Features a sturdy center column with adjustable risers that extend as high as 5 feet.  The top of the stand has knuckle with a rubber disc inside, ensuring the grip is super tight for rigging heavy items.  The knuckle can be removed so you can use the stand for a straight light stand or to grip other items as needed.
Our C-Stand comes complete with a removable 20" grip extension arm with a grip head. The grip arm makes it easy to offset a light by adding a light to the end, and can extend out with the use of a counterweight such as a sandbag.  Simply move your weight along the arm to find the perfect balance to prevent tipping.  Works great for overhead shooting, especially when using smaller cameras. The additional grip head is used to mount any accessory reflector, camera bracket, flag, flash head, monolight, or additional lighting with the ability to place them wherever needed.
This C-Stand features a sliding leg that and swivels, making it useful for shooting on uneven ground, or when placing the stand close to existing obstacles such as a wall, corner, or another light stand without interfering with the shot.  Works great for small home studios.  We also have a spring loaded, turtle base c-stand version available that comes off entirely as one piece.  Check out our additional adapters including caster wheels with brakes, baby pins, columns, and clamps - sold separately.
