    Description

    Antique, very early hand carved wooden snuff box, circa 1750/1800. Condition is "Used". This very charming and well carved snuff box measures 3 1/2” wide, 1 3/4 “ long and 1/2” deep. The center of the snuff features the carving of a child or a cherub and is surrounded by a geometric design. It’s hard to identify the dark wood exactly, but I believe this snuff box to be made of mahogany. There is no damage to the hinge or the snuff box. There are signs of wear from fond usage!
