The Stand Loop started with a single goal in mind-hold my sandbags on my light stands. Whether you are in studio or on location, Stand Loops will prove to be an invaluable addition to your gear.
Keeping gear safe and dry is essential - but being able to use almost anything to weight a stand is amazing! Here we used a log during this shoot and it worked great!
The loops will work on virtually any size light stand.
From the highest quality nylon strap, which has a weight capacity of over 1,200 lbs to the aircraft grade aluminum fasteners, quality became important after we noticed that sandbags were not the only thing these loops were being used for.
Although I love my clamps and use them regularly, I use the Stand Loops for almost 90% of what I use to use the clamps for. The Stand Loops are less than an ounce vs my clamps which are over a pound. I can easily pack as many Loops in my gear bag as I want without taking up valuable space or adding noticeable weight.
No matter what gear you need to secure or hang, you can be sure the Stand Loop can handle the weight. The Stand Loop’s aluminum hardware is rated to 100lbs and the mesh loop is rated up to 1,200lbs.
Each kit was created to work with a light stand or tripod. Two loops and one carbiener hook are included with each kit.
