These are excellent lightstands! They really are heavy duty and open and close in a pinch! They adjust quickly and I have no worries with my expensive speedlights riding up on top of these lightstands or my shadow boxes. They are phenomenal lightstands! If they could be better, I don't know how! The carrying bags are a great plus too! With the sandbags, even up at the 8ft hieght, I'm comfortable with my gear attached to them!
