    Description

    This rare Continental porcelain leg-form snuff box features a hinged molded silver (unmarked) top and naturalistic female leg with blue ribbon bowknot and yellow high heeled shoe with blue platform.  It dates to the last quarter of the nineteenth century.  Perfect condition.  For the advanced collector.  I looked for similar examples and only found 1 lot of 6 which sold at Christies for ,750.  An earlier but very similar example attributed to the Royal Copenhagen Factory sold for over 600 Euro at auction.
