ROTRING ArtPen Millennium Collection - VERY RARE
6 Limited Edition ArtPens & 1 ArtPen Gold Edition with Wooden Presentation Case - all unused and uninked
ROTRING produced an annual Limited Edition of the ArtPen called the Millennium Collection. Each edition is a unique creation, differing from its predecessors in material and finish. All pens sport a gold plated trim and dual-toned gold-plated nibs (except the ArtPen Gold edition which has a solid 18kt gold nib).
1995 - Multicoloured 'paint splattered' metal
1996 - The metal cap has a hand-lacquered finish. The barrel is made from American Cherry wood
1997 - Multicoloured translucent resin
1998 - Hand painted lathe-turned aluminium, covered with a multi-layer enamelling process
1999 - Polished hand-turned aluminium. The brilliant marine-blue surface was created with an anodising process
2000 - The rarest version, it has a body made of solid hand-turned brass etched with a guilloche pattern, then silver-coated and rhodanized
