  • Condition: This is CLEARANCE item. The Smith-Victor Boom Arm has been used for over 10 years and it is still serviceable. This was used to hold our Photogenic lighting equipment on another light stand and clamp. At most the payload is around 4lbs (for headlight and softbox). There are some scuff marks around the stud and parts of the arm. Noticeable scuff marks are near on the bottom of the arm. This item is sold as is with no return/exchange.

    This Smith-Victor MB-150 Boom Arm was part of our studio lighting equipment used for our products shots. It was used mainly with the Photogenic 320B lights for many years (see the other listing for the studio lights we have on sale).
    It was able to hold the light with a softbox to give a perfect head shot photo or used for our product shoot.
    This is a Medium Boom arm with black finished (not the Aluminum Silver finish you see on Smith-Victor's website).
    This particular boom uses a 5/8" stud top that will allow motion picture style lighting fixtures with a 5/8" inch receiver to be used with any of Studio Light's clamps that has half inch mounting threads. It also carries a 1/4" screw thread as well (a rubber stub protects the thread).
    You will need a clamp and a light stand to hold this arm (with a headlight of course). You'll be ready to go with that headlight for your portrait shoot!
