The voice is almost identical to our Talking Watch (huge surprise here....the respective factories are partners).

These are the real deal original, rugged time-tested version.
We tested various cheaper copies of this design once upon when (thinking to save money at the wholesale level).
One had quite weak sound; the other sounded ok but had an electrical short in the battery compartment only hours after we got it.
Basically, many copies are just post-original remakes. This version is more expensive than the copies (for good reason), but worth it in our (probably totally biased) opinion.
